Creating a Facebook Page — Checklist
What Meta Requires
A good Facebook page has at least:
- Name (same as your company name, consistent with your website)
- Category (IT Live selects based on your SBI code — e.g. "Local Business → Electrician")
- Profile Picture (600×600 or 800×800 PNG, IT Live automatically converts your SVG logo)
- Cover Photo (820×312 — we create one with your brand colors and USP)
- Short Description (max 255 characters — IT Live writes this based on your company profile)
- Website URL
- Phone Number
- Address (if you have a physical location)
- Hours of Operation
What Makes a Page Good?
- Consistency — Name, logo, URL match exactly with your website and Google My Business
- Reviews — Ask your first 5 customers for reviews immediately after setup
- First 3 Posts — Create immediately after setup: welcome post, product/service post, case/review
- Messenger Auto-Reply — IT Live can set up a welcome message
