Setting up FTP with TransIP

Steps

1. Log in to transip.nl/cp.
2. Click Webhosting → your hosting package.
3. Tab FTP (or SFTP for StackScript).
4. Click Change Password next to your FTP user.

IT Live Details

• Host: ftp.transip.nl or the specific server address from your Control Panel
• Port: 21 (FTP) or 22 (SFTP — recommended)
• Username: as visible in the Control Panel (e.g., yourdomain)
• Password: the one you just set up

Tip

TransIP also supports SSH keys for SFTP — more secure than passwords. Ask IT Live about setting this up if you're interested.
