Setting up FTP with OVH

Steps

1. Log in to ovh.com.
2. Go to Web Cloud → Hosting Plans → select your hosting.
3. Tab FTP–SSH.
4. Click on ⚙ next to the user → Change the password.
5. Set a new password — wait 1-2 minutes for it to become active.

IT Live Details

• Host: ftp.cluster0XX.hosting.ovh.net (check OVH dashboard)
• Port: 21 (FTP) or 22 (SFTP)
• Username: your OVH FTP login (e.g. damtecb)
• Password: the one you just set up

Creating an Additional FTP User (optional)

• Tab FTP–SSH → Add user
• Grant access only to your website directory (e.g. /www)
• This is safer than sharing the main user
