Setting up FTP with Hostnet

Steps

1. Log in to hostnet.nl.
2. Go to My Services → your hosting package.
3. Menu Management → FTP accounts.
4. You will see a list of existing FTP users.
5. Click Change Password for your user, or Create New Account.

Details for IT Live

• Host: ftp.yourdomain.nl or check the Hostnet control panel
• Port: 21
• Username: as shown by Hostnet
• Password: the one you just set up

FTPS recommended

In IT Live, select FTPS — Hostnet supports it and your connection will be encrypted.
