Your Management Dashboard in 5 Minutes
Welcome to Your Management Dashboard
Your website is live, congratulations! Now you have access to your own management environment. Here, you manage your reviews, leads, and Google connections β without needing to know anything about technology. In this tour, we'll go through all the buttons together, so you'll know what's what within 5 minutes.
Don't worry: you can't break anything. And if you're unsure about something, IT Live is always available to help.

Step 1 β Logging In
- Open your browser and go to
https://your-domain.nl/admin/login.php(replaceyour-domain.nlwith your own website address). - Enter your username and password. You received these from IT Live.
- Click on Log In.
Tip: add this page to your browser bookmarks. Then you'll be just one click away.

Step 2 β The Sidebar β What Do You See?
On the left, you'll see a menu, the so-called sidebar. This is your starting point for everything. Below, we'll explain each item.

Dashboard
This is your start page. Here, you'll see at a glance:
- Who has contacted you through your website (leads)
- A button to manually manage reviews
- Quick links to your IT Live Portal
Think of it as the "front page" of your management environment.

Add Reviews
Do you have new Google reviews? You can add them here in bulk. Simply copy the text from Google Maps and paste it here β the rest is automatic.

Google Connection
Here, you fill in three things:
- Your own API key (so reviews are retrieved live)
- Your Search Console verification code (so Google indexes your site correctly)
- Your Analytics tracking ID (so you can see visitor numbers)
You only need to set this up once. Read the separate tutorials Create Google Cloud API Key and Connect Search Console + Analytics if you need more help.

View Website
A handy button that opens your website in a new tab. This way, you can check how your changes look to your visitors.

Log Out
Click here when you're done. Never forget to do this on a shared device (like a computer in a shared office or library).

Step 3 β The Dashboard Itself β What's There?
On the Dashboard page, you'll see three cards next to each other. We'll go through them one by one.
Card "Requests & Leads"
Here, you'll see who has responded through your contact form or quote request. Name, phone number, email, and the question they asked β all in one place.
Tip: open this card at least once a week, so you don't miss any customers.

Card "IT Live Portal"
A quick link to your IT Live Drive (where your photos and files are) and your settings. From here, you can upload new photos for your website, for example.

Card "Manage Google Reviews"
This opens a manual editor where you can adjust the name, stars, and text of each review. Handy if you want to refine or highlight a specific review.

Step 4 β How Often Do You Open the Dashboard?
You don't need to log in every day. A good rhythm is:
- Weekly: check leads and keep reviews up to date
- Monthly: check your rates and possibly add new reviews
- A few times a year: check your Google Analytics numbers (you do this in Google Analytics itself, not in this dashboard)
Step 5 β Three Things to Do in Your First Week
- Change your password β as soon as the option is available. Is the button not there yet? Send a message to IT Live, and we'll set it up for you.
- Fill in Google Connection β Search Console verification + Analytics tracking ID. Do this once, and you're done.
- Add your first 3 to 5 real reviews β social proof is worth its weight in gold for new visitors.

Step 6 β What You Won't See in This Dashboard (and Why That's a Good Thing)
The following things are intentionally not included in your management environment:
- Code and HTML adjustments β IT Live takes care of those for you
- Hosting settings β IT Live takes care of those for you
- Domain settings β IT Live takes care of those for you
This is done on purpose. This dashboard is intentionally kept simple, so you can focus on your business and not on technology. If you need a change that can't be made here, we'll take care of it behind the scenes, often within a few hours.
Step 7 β Need Help?
Stuck somewhere? Email or WhatsApp IT Live. It works best if you send a screenshot of what you see β then we know exactly where you are and can help directly.
Step 8 β Security
- Don't share your login with others, not even with colleagues. Does a colleague need access too? Ask IT Live to create a separate account for them.
- Always log out on a shared device. Use the Log Out button in the sidebar for this.
- Suspicious something? See things you didn't do yourself, or is something not working right? Email IT Live immediately, and we'll reset your access and take a look.
